About Les Gets

Les Gets is a traditional farming Savoy village who slowly became from the fifties one of the most famous skiing resort in the Alps . The village has grown up keeping his identity and typical style. It offer a huge skiing resort but also lots of activities for non-skiers who want to spend very good time in the snow.

The Local Ski Area

Les Gets and Morzine resort have 52 ski-lifts with 66 slopes. It offer a skiing area adapted to any skiers levels: Nursery slopes - green slopes - territoire du Grand Cry for the beginners and 37 red or black slopes for the best skiers. The Full Ski Area

-Les Gets and Morzine resort is also linked with the Portes du Soleil area which include in France and in Switzerland 12 well-known resorts. This has 288 lifts serving 650kms of pistes in two countries making it the largest ski area in Europe (yes you can ski over the boarder, but it’s not like James Bond, just a sign saying you are in Switzerland. There’s no one to chase you on black snowmobiles unfortunately!)

Non-Skiing Activities

- The village also offer, after your day of skiing or for the non-skiers lots of activities : ice-rink open all-day in the centre of the village, cinema (movies in English once a week), events during the winter... For more information about those, check en.lesgets.com/village/

- Les Gets' nightlife has a warm and friendly atmosphere. There are many good bars worth checking out. Most bars are open until 2am, and for those with energy still to burn there is the Igloo nightclub, which is open until 5am!
